Show Me Sailing acts solely as an intermediary (agent) between the client and the charter company, which owns or operates the vessel.
Our mission is to help you select the right yacht, destination, and sailing period, and to simplify the entire booking and communication process.
Show Me Sailing does not own vessels and is not a travel organizer, but your personal agent ensuring a safe and transparent connection with verified charter companies.
Responsibility of the Charter Company
The charter company is the contractual party with which the client signs the yacht charter agreement. It is fully responsible for:
• the technical condition and equipment of the vessel,
• the quality and performance of services,
• deposit handling and return,
• resolving any technical issues, damages, or complaints.
Role of Show Me Sailing During the Charter
Show Me Sailing provides advisory and logistical assistance before, during, and after the trip.
This assistance is supportive in nature and does not imply legal responsibility for the performance of the charter contract or any technical incidents on board.
Limitation of Liability
Show Me Sailing cannot be held liable for:
• technical malfunctions or defects,
• delays, cancellations, or changes by the charter company,
• weather conditions, itinerary changes, or third-party behavior (skippers, crew, marinas, etc.),
• personal dissatisfaction with the vessel or services.
The maximum liability of Show Me Sailing, if proven, is limited to the amount of commission earned for that mediation.
Our Commitment
We cooperate only with verified and registered charter companies, carefully check all offers before sending them, and remain available to you before, during, and after your sailing holiday.
Confirmation of Consent
By submitting an inquiry, confirming an offer, or paying a deposit, the client confirms that they have read and agreed to these Terms of Mediation and Responsibility.
